Change shape: Sta + Will Over Form 9+, total +5 (Heart-beast characteristics) Born into an old merchant family, the third son had nothing to inherit from the trade of his father. The shop went to the oldest of the brothers, and the second one stayed and worked there, while the oldest brother was unavailable. Knowing this, his parents never really gave him the same education as his brothers. Being scrawny and weak, this nice child was left out from the games of the older boys. This did not matter much to him; being unnaturally bright at his age, he found new games to play. He made friends with the animals living in the village, and was often seen talking to them. Often he was heard asking his mother for bread crumbs to give to the birds. The boy who could turn into a raven was apparently blessed by Óðinn All-Father. When a magus from a covenant nearby asked his parents, if he could take their son, and teach him the secrets of his order, the parents obliged, seeing that young [Albrecht's] future did not lay in the merchant business. Cornix, the magus, took Albrecht to [Crintera], where his hidden gift and his heart-beast was uncovered. Corvus' parens, Cornix, was quite stingy with his hermetic training. He concentrated more on Bjornaer magic, seeing that Corvus had more than just one heart-shape. This suited Corvus rather well, since he too wanted to know more of himself. [Albrecht] was accepted as a magus very young, and the covenant respected his wishes that he could roam free and find a suitable covenant for himself. [Albrecht] flew to the Britannia, a magical land, to conduct his search. |
