Spell plans
This page will contain plans of our troupe for future adventures,
lab activities and spell inventions.
- Bearnard's spell calculations
-
After completing the Festival of the Damned, there were 2
seasons time to do whatever we want. I thought Bearnard would be
studying Intéllego or Corpus, since he is getting near the
aging rolls. During the Festival, I noticed that my Mighty
Torrent of Water actually sucks, so I thought I could make a
better spell... so I did some spell calculations. After these calculations,
I invented the Pilum of Fire.
After that, I have added a few spells to be researched and invented
later on.
- Plan to fill the library
-
Thinking about the small library of spells we have, I got an idea.
if every magus in the covenant would spend a season to write up
his/her spells, we might get some nice additions in there for
everyone to study and use. These could be the ones... Without
the grimoires of Nelly or Tomas this list is not complete.
Invented spells
Here are some of the spells the magi of Insula Maledictus have invented, will - or could - invent.
- Kuoppakikka™ (Pit Trick)
- Combining the Pit of the Gaping Earth and Seal the Earth,
this spell creates a pit under an enemy and fills it up with a rock.
Rock can be just a little bit bigger than the hole, trapping the enemy,
or just the right size, crushing the enemy. Author: Bearnárd.
- Vision of the Last Breath Drawn
- A ritual spell that enables the magus to see the corpse's cause of death.
The caster sees the death and everything before it as long as he concentrates,
with the time going backwards in the vision. Author: Profanus.
- Sense the Natural Form of Power
- This spell makes it easier to collect vis from creatures. Author: Nathair.
- Calling the Circle of Warriors
- This spell combines the Circle of Warriors and Jongleur's Flying
Blade, creating four swords around the caster. The swords protect the
caster by defending against attackers. Author: Bearnárd.
- Suppressing the Magical Nature
- A little something to help the magi to survive the mundane society.
